First created by Sam Ross at The Violet Hour in Chicago, the Paper Plane was a modern ode to balance - equal parts bourbon, Amaro Nonino, Aperol, and lemon juice - named for the M.I.A. song that defined its summer. We take a slightly different flight path, switching the water in Mellow Corn Whiskey with Chardonnay, adding subtle weight and minerality to the base before pairing it with the Amaro for layered sweetness and herbal depth. Aperitivo Casoni 1814 rounds it out - familiar in form, elevated in tone. A classic reborn... midair.
